A tragic accident ensued on the night of 14 January to 15 January in Budapest at the Magyar Aszfalt stop on Gubacsi Street in the 9th district. Following a report, BRFK (Budapest Police Headquarters) staff found a man on the tram tracks who had presumably died in a traffic accident. Based on the findings of the on-site inspection, the man may have been run over by a tram travelling there, but the circumstances of the accident are still being clarified, and are being investigated by the police and BKV.
