The 150-year-old cogwheel railway remise opens its doors to the public
BKV is holding guided tours in the Városmajor remise, an area otherwise closed to passengers, on Saturday, 29 June. The company is celebrating the 150-year-old cogwheel railway with a visitors' day. Only pre-registered visitors can take part in the walks, it is not possible to sign up for groups on site.
The first 45-minute tour starts at 9:00 a.m. and the last one at 4:00 p.m.
Registration for the walks is available on the BKV website:

Venue address: Budapest, 12th district, Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor 14–16.
BKV Zrt. reserves the right to change the programme.
We also recommend visiting our new temporary exhibition commemorating Budapest’s 150-year-old cogwheel railway set up at the Millennium Underground Museum (at Deák tér underpass).
