BKV and BKK are organizing a photo tour with three Christmas trams on the night of 27-28 December 2024. Sixty people can join in the approximately seven and a half hour programme – after prior registration. Since there is great interest in the photo tour every year, places fill up quickly, this year you can register at three times.
The photo tour starts at 9.38 p.m. at the Városmajor terminus of the cogwheel railway, and attendees may arrive as early as 8.30 p.m.
The programme is expected to end at Bosnyák tér at 05.00 a.m. The tour will include 10-11 stops at locations where there will be opportunities to take photos and videos.
You may register for the photo tour on BKV's website, on the dates and at the times as follows:
on Thursday, 19 December, from 5.00 p.m.
on Friday, 20 December, from 5.00 p.m.

and on Saturday, 21 December, from 9.00 a.m.

As an additional condition for participating, registered passengers need to purchase a 2,000 HUF heritage day ticket from the passenger coordinator on site. Boarding is on a first-come, first-served basis; there is no possibility of pre-booking seats. A maximum of sixty people can take part in the event. Participants are requested to bring a reflective visibility vest or jacket, which is mandatory to wear during photo shoots when getting off the vehicles.
