BKV was once again awarded the title of "Energy Conscious Company" in the Energy Efficiency Excellence Competition launched by the Virtual Power Plant Program. With the innovative measures introduced as part of the program aimed at reducing energy consumption, the company achieved savings of almost 90,000 GJ, resulting in a significant yield for the company.

Since 2014, BKV has been participating in the implementation of the goals set by the Virtual Power Plant Program, i.e. contributing to the "construction" of a virtual power plant with the greatest possible savings. Since joining the VPPP, as a result of the initial attention-drawing, attitude-shaping and organizational measures, the exploration and validation of energy saving potentials have been integrated into the daily activities of the company.
