BKV is testing a hydrogen-powered bus
BKV is the first in Hungary to test Mercedes-Benz's new, electric, hydrogen-powered, articulated city bus. You can travel by the futuristic-looking vehicle for free on bus line 8E between 8 and 16 October. BKV also looks forward to learning passengers' experiences and opinions about the test bus.
You can encounter the Mercedes-Benz test bus of type eCitaro Fuel Cell between 8 and 16 October on bus line 8E between 6:15 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. However, the vehicle does not operate between 1 and 3 p.m. The movement of the bus can be tracked in the BudapestGO application and at the stops on the route of 8E equipped with public displays. Travelling by the test bus is free of charge.
Passengers testing the bus are invited to leave a review of their experience at bkv@bkv.hu or at our relevant Facebook post. Opinions may reflect a wide range of observations relating to seat comfort, corridor width, the amount of handles, the aesthetics of the vehicle etc.
In addition to its own experiences, BKV will forward the opinions of passengers to the brand representation in Hungary alike.
