You can change metro lines - including the Millennium Underground - within its validity. You cannot use it for a return trip.

Yes, you can change from a metro line to another metro line with a single ticket but only once as there is only one station where you can do this: at Deák Ferenc tér.

No - in any other case (metro-bus, metro-tram, bus-bus, etc.)

From 1 January 2009, within the metro network you only need to validate your single ticket at the beginning of your trip. If you wish to change between the metro lines M2, M3 and the Millennium Underground Railway (at the station Deák Ferenc tér), you do not need to validate your single ticket again. The validity time is 60 minutes in case of validation by a printing machine. However, single tickets do not entitle you to change from the metro to surface vehicles or between surface lines!
